About The Doctor

Dr. Karl K. Nishimura
Dr. Nishimura is a groundbreaking orthodontist who is altering the world’s perception of orthodontia and it’s integral connection to whole body healing. He is a graduate of Loyola University, School of Dentistry and University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics. He also holds an M.D from the University of
Health Sciences of Antigua to a designation he obtained for his research in pain therapy and for his upcoming book. He has extensive background in craniofacial orthopedic treatment and TMJ disorders. He is also trained in cranio-sacral acupressure, kinesiology, shiatsu, and massage techniques.

With his extensive education and research he is a senior clinical instructor in the Clinical Practice Program at White Memorial Hospital’s TMJ clinic, in Los Angeles, California. He teaches Trauma Release courses sponsored by the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators. He has lectured internationally on Myofascial Pain Disorders, Temporo-mandibular Joint Syndrome, Craniofacial Orthopedics, and, Trauma Release Treatment.
